Charmouth Challenge 1st July 2017
The Charmouth Challenge is an 8-mile fell run through some of the finest coastal scenery in the South West on Dorset’s beautiful Jurassic Coast, overlooking Charmouth’s famous fossil hunting beaches with views to historic Lyme Regis. Charmouth Challenge includes an ascent of Golden Cap which is the highest point on the South Coast of England at 191 metres. Charmouth Challenge takes place on the 1st July 2017 at 14:30. This year a new event of an 8-mile walk has been introduced starting at Charmouth Primary School and following a route up to Golden Cap.
Shortly after the Charmouth Challenge sets off those who would like to take part in a shorter run enjoying this stunning part of the coast can sign up for the 2-mile fun run. This is for children over the age of 8 or for any younger children with taking part with a grown up.
Thank you very much to the following local companies for their ongoing support to this event.
